Colorado-based videographer 1321 Studios Wedding Films captured the emotions, beauty and humor surrounding Elim and Frank’s Oahu destination wedding. Love the commentary from the Studios owner, Jeff Siebert:
“Elim got in touch with us after we created Shiny & Noble’s wedding film. Elim is great friends with Noble and Shiny and was a bridesmaid at their wedding. We love traveling so I was thrilled when Elim got in touch with us to create her Oahu wedding film. Elim & Frank invited us to be with them for 3 solid days and we enjoyed every minute of it. We captured so much footage that I’m pretty sure I could have created 5 highlight videos! We got to try out a bunch of cool new gear including an underwater camera housing to capture Elim & Frank snorkeling. We also captured some beautiful timelapse clips that I put together into a preview film that you can watch here. We even got to witness one of the funniest golfing expeditions that I’ve been a part of! Elim & Frank’s Waimanalo Bay ceremony on was exceptionally gorgeous and despite the fact that it was one of the windiest weddings I’ve ever shot, I was thrilled that their vows came through loud and clear. Planning was executed by Diana Caro-Salvador with Oahu Wedding and we enjoyed sharing Elim & Frank with Rachel Robertson of Rachel Robertson Photography.”
Here’s a glimpse into Lisa and Robin’s darling waterfront ceremony at Moli’i Garden. While beach weddings are very popular for destination weddings in Hawaii, there’s something to be said for intimate garden weddings. The beauty of Lisa and Robin’s love was enhanced by serene natural elements of the sound of the wind blowing through the trees, birds chirping, and fish jumping out of the pond to catch a peek as the events unfolded. Truly a magnificent day! Images by Kai-Photo.
Since posting Stephanie + Brad’s wedding last week, several of our bride’s have emailed requesting more pics of their set up at the Coconut Club. Enjoy these pics of the details we designed with the couple! Images by Kai-Photo.
Stephanie and Brad picked not one, but two hidden gems to host their destination ceremony and reception: Anela Garden is a quaint house-turned-wedding venue located on the slopes of Diamond Head, while the Coconut Club boasts the most amazing views of Waikiki from the 21st floor of the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. We love it when certain things unexpectedly fall into place on wedding day. For this occasion, arriving at the ceremony to find bougainvillea trees in full bloom in the wedding color brought upon my “happy dance.” The other was the rain stopping the minute before the bride walked down the aisle. Stephanie and Brad raised the bar on their reception decor by enhancing the Coconut Club with specialty linen, chair covers, square monkey pod chargers, china, custom escort cards and menus, and beautiful, bright, tropical floral decor elements using roses, mokara orchids and pincushion protea.
